Full description
The white beaches and emerald waters make Fuerteventura a traveler’s paradise, but there’s more to discover than meets the eye. This volcanic island is home to tremendous marine diversity and has a long history of people coexisting with nature — it’s not surprising Fuerteventura has been declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Your tour will take you through some historic sites and give you a taste of island life. Your trip begins in Puerto del Rosario, where you’ll take a car up the northeastern coast towards Corralejo. You’ll watch out the window as the landscape transforms into a desert of stunning white sand. Your guide will entertain you with stories of the past and present of Fuerteventura, as well as the origin of the sands and the island itself. Your next stop is El Cotillo, where you’ll see the cliffs, beaches, and waves that attract surfers and water sports enthusiasts from around the world. From here, your tour continues to La Oliva. See the historic Casa de los Coroneles (The House of the Colonels), and a church with historical burials. Finally, return to Corralejo around 1:30 PM. Before returning to the port, stop at the Dunes of Corralejo and the beach for a swim in the clear blue waters.

Very impressed with nature, landscapes, beaches!!! We're not very lucky. that there were no 2 scheduled buses. And 2 groups were combined into one group. And we were taken longer, and on a different route. That is, the march was repeated, since the first group had to be taken to the beach. And only then we returned from the other side to our route. We lost over an hour and a half riding the bus. And due to this, the stay at the indicated planned tourist sites was short, or they wanted to shorten them altogether. I had to turn to the guide and tell him that according to our route we are going completely wrong, and we are not shown what is written in the program. Romanian tourists supported me. And the guide, seeing this, quickly rebuilt and tried to show what else could be shown. Basically it was a German group. The guide spoke well. Although it was written in the program that the tour was conducted in English. But we were not offended by this, since we had our own capacious notes o
