Following pick-up from your resort in Fuerteventura (available from Corralejo and Castillo/Caleta de Fuste), journey to the port at Corralejo and board the express ferry to sail to Playa Blanca on the neighboring island of Lanzarote. Travel above deck and feel the sea breeze on the open-air journey. Upon arrival, get a welcome from your guide and board a comfortable, air-conditioned coach to drive to Timanfaya National Park. Then, try out a selection of local farm produce for lunch. Start off the tour by learning about the history of the Verdeaurora farm, and hear about the volcanic origins of the island. Learn about the site's designation as a Special Protection Area for Birds, then take the chance to meet the farm's sheep and Majorero donkeys. Next, see the farm's variety of crops on a guided walk, from aloe vera plants to olive orchards. You'll come to understand the evolution of farm practices on the island and see the present-day technology of olive oil production. Enjoy a glass of local cava before venturing into the permaculture garden, an oasis of tropical fruit trees and foliage. Here, you'll get to sample some farm-fresh olive oil for yourself. You'll then take part in an aloe vera workshop, to create your own aloe lotion and learn about the impressive therapeutic properties of the plant. Stop to enjoy a tapas lunch of local products like tomatoes, potatoes with mojo sauce, Majorero cheese with jams, and a gofio dessert, accompanied by a glass of wine from the Canary Islands. Finally, relax on the terrace overlooking the farm and volcanic landscape, and take the opportunity to browse the shop for its beauty, health, and food products.

You will have the experience of making an authentic Fuerteventura cheese with your own hands from the milking. You will know how it is, how it lives, how it feeds,... the Majorera goat: the best goat in the world for desert climate and the real protagonist in this experience. Upon arrival at our farm, you will be welcomed with a cup of coffee while we explain the experience, which will last approximately 2.5 hours. At that moment we provide you with the necessary material (work covers, tights, gloves,...) to access the corrals and the milking parlor. Once here we proceed to teach you the milking techniques both manually and with the milking machine, so that you can do it on your own. Also during the milking we provide you with all the necessary information about our greatest treasure: the Majorera goat (feeding, morphology, care,...). In the middle of the work we give you an Authentic Fuerteventura Breakfast, which consists of a bowl of freshly milked goat's milk with Gofio. Once we have milked a batch of goats (approx. 40 goats) we will go to the pens to proceed to feed them. Our guest farmers will carry out the work in the corral (emptying the sacks of food in the troughs, wheelbarrow with alfalfa,...). When this is finished, we will again provide new work material (change of gloves, hats, aprons,...) this time to go to the Elaboration Room, where our visitors will get all the basic information necessary to transform milk into cheese. Each visitor will individually elaborate their own cheese. In this place you will also have more information about the different majorero cheeses that exist, differences in formats with respect to the ripening time, ... and much more. When you have finished making the cheese, we leave it in the "press" to take firmness and we go to our patio of plants, where you will receive a large breakfast containing fresh cheese sandwich, cheese board, accompanied by Canarian Mojos and jams, plus water and other consumption to choose (Coffee, Tea, Tenerife Wine, Beer, Soft Drinks, ...). Once you have finished having breakfast and rested from the experience, you will go back to the Elaboration room and take your own cheese from the press, vacuum pack it and label it by yourselves, ending the experience.

Visit Bodega Conatvs vineyard and go on a guided walking tour, learning about how they cultivate the vines and produce the wines. Enjoy a tasting session with local cheese and oils. Your visit starts with a tour of the vines, where you can see the different varieties of grape and the systems used that sometimes even involve volcanos. Move on to the winery where the grapes are turned into wine then bottled, then visit the wine-tasting room to try out some wines, accompanied by a tasting of local Fuerteventura cheese.

You’ll also learn about the life and traditions of the Canarian people living in the countryside.  You will visit the scenic villages of Pajara and Betancuria, making a stop at one of the best goat farms and cheese shops on the island, and enjoy a tasting of their produce. For lunch, enjoy a meal of tapas in an authentic local restaurant. The last spot of the day is the famous cheese museum located in the village of Antigua. At the end of the day you’ll be dropped back to your hotel.
