Meet in the reception area at The Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel. Please arrive by 8 AM at the latest on the day your trip departs. This allows time for the distribution of daypacks and waterproof jackets, and for introductions.

Know before you go
- The maximum group size is 10. A minimum of 4 people is required to depart (excluding international visitors)
- Participants must be moderately fit. The walk is organized so that people who are active will enjoy the trip. You will walk between 28–40 kilometers (17.5–25 miles) over the 4 days
- This tour is not recommended for people with limited mobility
- All you carry is a daypack containing lunch, 2 liters of water, a weatherproof jacket, and personal items, such as a camera and sunglasses
- Friendly Beaches Lodge is an environmental lodge and is completely off the grid with no mobile reception
- Menus include fresh local flathead, oysters, grass-fed beef, and excellent fresh local produce and wines. Special dietary requirements can be catered for
