New Orleans: Frenchmen Street VIP Live Music Pub Crawl

Andre, being a singer/songwriter himself, was a perfect guide. Navigated the rain pour and could be a great cat-herder; our group was a bit independent and some did not follow Andre’s lead, delaying and scattering at whim. But Andre kept it all good. A bit of “Mint” history followed by the crawl. It was great music and varied. Andre even sang at the first club. - a taste of what his band’s gig would bring at another event. Only ding that kept this from a 5-star review was the first club band leader decided to bring his limited-talent daughter into the stage for a tedious and drawn out mess of a song. This lasted :10 minutes and evolved into an “a cappella” version of Amazing Grace when dad realized his daughter’s voice was lost behind his acoustic guitar. As we departed, three ladies from another group jumped on stage for the save and harmonized beautifully. Nine of this attributes to Andre - he cannot control what the performers do at a particular event.

Great selection of music and venues. Free drinks at two places was nice bc you have to tip at every location and buy drinks at the others. It was really fun.
