From Fremantle: Rottnest Island Ferry and Bike Day Tour

Had a great day exploring Rottnest’s beautiful beaches and bays. Very easy to ride around the island. There’s a great general store near the main jetty with heaps of options for a picnic lunch or recharge food. There’s a subway and boost juice store on the island and of course heaps of cute and inquisitive Quokkas 🫶🏼

It was seamless getting on the ferry and collecting your bikes, however, just a little bit of advice for the island itself… If you want to see the whole island, use the hop on hop off buses. If you want to snorkel, use the bikes. If you literally just want to see the quokkas, don’t bother with either and go by foot as the majority of them are within a 5-30 min walk from the ferry base. You need to be pretty fit to actually cycle the entire island, the 3-5 hour suggestion for the whole island is pretty ambitious unless you are used to hills!
