The pilot was an officer and a gentleman. The landing on the snow above the glacier was positively a true bucket-list experience. The sheer scale of everything was breathtaking. The purity of the virgin snow up there is something to behold; falling into it was like grandma's feather bed. You have not lived until you experienced this trip! Being in doubt as to whether the flight would happen until 10 minutes before the time was really, really bad. I booked 2 months ago and they happily took my money then. The weather on the day was perfect for flying. Then I was told the only way the flight would happen was if I bought another ticket for a ghost passenger. That smacks of blackmail given that I brought a friend in from the other side of the world at $6K so I would not have had a choice but to pay up.. Fortunately another couple strolled in off the street just in time. They have to sort this because it is spoiling a fantastic experience. Your reputation depends on this guys.
