Fantastic experience seeing the glacier up close and personal. We were originally booked on the 45 min flight but the weather was closing in quickly and Glacier Country Helicopters were brilliant at getting us on an earlier flight as ours was going to be cancelled. This was all handled with great courtesy and it was very reassuring to see their ‘safety first’ approach in action. All the staff were extremely helpful and courteous and our shuttle driver (apologies, can’t remember your name!) should be on the stage give his non-stop repartee! Most importantly the pilots were outstanding and despite the worsening weather we always felt safe and were extremely grateful that they could find us a safe spot to land on a glacier. We would definitely recommend Glacier Country Helicopters to anyone considering a glacier flight in Frans Josef or Fox.

Excellent trip, well organised, very professional and safe. Fantastic views from the helicopter across the mountain peaks and glaciers below. The landing was great with time to look around the glacier and take some photos. Dion our pilot, was excellent, a very smooth ride and lots of information about what we were seeing and where we were going, moving the helicopter around so all passengers could see the sights. We were even able to move the date to take advantage of better weather. Well done, highly recommend!

our experience was very good from booking the trip, being advised that clouds were expected at the time of our flight. we were offered a different time, which we took up. a professional operation from admin, transfer to heliport and an absolute fantastic experience flying up to the glacier. every member of staff that we met were friendly and knowledgeable. we would recommend this company very highly.
