Full description

The 50- or 100-minutes boat trips depart from Eiserner Steg. The boat leaves every hour. You have can choose between either 50/100 minutes downstream or 50/100 minutes upstream. Sailing towards Griesheim, see the urban areas of Frankfurt towards the Western harbor. Here you have a wonderful view of the skyscrapers of Frankfurts Financial Center or you can enjoy the museums along the embankment, for example the Städel. The ship will turn around before the Griesheim lock. At 12h00 the tour will take you upstream. Sail past the beautiful embankments of the river main towards the Eastern harbor of the city. You can see the district Sachsenhausen and its museum embankment. You will have the chance to get off at "Gerbermühle", a historic landmark to Frankfurt's poet Goethe. All tours are accompanied by commentaries in English and German.

It was fantastic weather, so you could sit on the sun deck. In addition a piece of Sacher Torte, coffee and water, perfect. The service was extremely friendly. The nature of the audio accompaniment was appealing and some things that could not have been explored by land routes were fantastic to see here.

Great value for €10.80, The 50min tour was good, went very quick and ypu only get to see the lower half of the river..the service and food was very good indeed and average price as you would expect to pay. Nice to sit back and relax so i would highly recommend.

A very pleasant and insightful cruise, lots of scenery and the comfortable voyage on both legs. On board staff is friendly and professional, a good choice of snacks and beverages if u want something to eat or drink. Would recommend, a great way to spend an hour or 2 one morning or afternoon!
