Start your Dubrovnik adventure by meeting your guide at Port Gruz (after you pass pedestrian port exit, on main bus terminal) or from Pile Gate (fountain next to Dubravka restaurant). At this point you will commence your descent into Old Town, on Pile gate where your driver will leave you. Return transfer back to port will be from same point where driver left you. Mario was very accommodating, as we missed our collection the previous day due to a misunderstanding regarding the pickup point; he agreed to take us the following evening, and even collected us from our hotel After a stop at the new bridge at the entranced to Dubrovnik, we were taken to see one of the the shortest rivers in Europe, before we made our way up the mountain behind Dubrovnik, eventually arriving at the highest point adjacent to the cable station. Mario had many interesting anecdotes about the city of Dubrovnik, it's history and varying forms of government. His knowledge is extensive, and his manner very friendly.
