Very good, extremely well organized. Every piece of information is fully understandable and well prepared. The driver - full respect for getting us through the narrow streets and on the train. For the Cretans, traffic signs sometimes seem to be just a guide... Chania and Rhethymno are excellent ways to get a first impression. It's a shame - Lake Kournas is a tourist trap. The toilets in the recommended tavern are a complete disaster!!!! Not a good spot. You should definitely stop here when the day is over, there are probably hundreds of colorful pedal boats on the lake, for a one and a half hour break

Preveli beach and the palm garden are definitely worth a visit. Sturdy shoes are necessary in some places in the grove, but the clear river water is fantastic and refreshing... I'll go there again next time. Preveli beach is also very nice, not too crowded because you can only get there by ferry or long hike... highly recommended.

The coach was old and shabby with uncomfortable seating, however that didn’t spoil the day we thoroughly enjoyed visiting Chania and Rethymno but the highlight was Lake Kournos, we would have happily had longer time there for swimming in the lake
