Glen was engaging, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating when he took our group out. The boat seats were comfortable and swiveled so easy to look all around. He found dolphins and got them to "play" with us; took us to a great beach and we collected beautiful shells and even found sand dollars; was informative about the Ten Thousand Islands which Marco Island is a part of and the trees in the Mangroves from Glen who has been in the area for over 30 years. He took us to a spot he knew and we saw a Rosy Spoonbill "fishing" which was so cool!! We highly recommend Capt Glen!

First of all, the crew was great and my comments below will be about the experience itself. After reading all the reviews my expectations were very high. I felt that the trip was just OK. At the end, most of the attractiveness comes from seeing dolphins and that is something the crew cannot control. We only saw 3 of them and mostly far away. The “shelling” part was not that exciting and this took close to 50% of the tour.

So much fun! Wish I could have done this more than once. The dolphins were beautiful. The caption and first mate were able to point out specific dolphins and their “names” and describe their behaviors (‘personalities’) that make them unique. Saw small sharks. The birds in the mangroves were beautiful. The shelling portion was a nice diversion and a rare chance to see a remote part of the area. Definitely do it!
