Embark on a real adventure with an airboat tour of the Florida Everglades and entry to the alligator and reptile exhibit. Explore this fascinating natural wonder, hear the history of the Seminole people, and learn about the wildlife you sport from your captain. Board your airboat and glide out into the Everglades. As you cruise, listen to fascinating historical and ecological facts from your captain. Listen to tales of how the Native American Seminole people and panthers once coexisted in this lush wilderness. Keep an eye out for rare and endangered wildlife as you skim across the glassy water, through grassy rivers, and over the tropical marsh. After your airboat tour, head into the alligator and reptile exhibit. Get up close to a baby alligator and touch its unique skin and learn about these formidable predators.

Your reservation is for your check-in time and not the boat departure time. It is not necessary to check in early. Simply check in upon arrival at the Sawgrass Recreation Park and you will be assigned to the next boat boarding. A 4pm time slot will allow you time to see the Alligator & Reptile Exhibit and you will board the last boat departing at 5pm.

Know before you go

  • Your reservation is for a window of arrival and not a boat departure time. Upon arrival, check in with any of our clerks and you will be assigned to the next boat boarding.
  • We have limited accessibility for guests who are handicapped. The boats are not wheelchair accessible but our exhibits are. If you are able to comfortably take a step down into our boats or have a family member help you into and out of the boat, you will be able to enjoy the boat ride. Upon check-in, please let our clerks know that you will need additional time to board the boat and we will be sure to let the captain know so you will be escorted to the front of the line and given time to get comfortable. If you are apprehensive about having to get into the boat comfortably, you can still enjoy our animal exhibits! The exhibit area is a gravel walkway. We have a wheelchair we can lend you at no cost for the exhibit area.

Experiencia diferente, aunque estuvimos un buen rato no conseguimos ver ningún cocodrilo desde la barca. Todo y eso, la velocidad y el paseo por esa zona valieron la pena. Dimos una pequeña vuelta por el parque y vimos otros animales. Allí pudimos ver un cocodrilo gracias a un guía que nos indicó.

The 30 minute tour was packed with information and unique experience (for me) riding on an airboat. I knew it was going to be loud because they gave you earplugs but I didn't know that they would be stopping to be able to talk and describe. Saw a small gator and an iguana, various birds.

The 30 minute tour was a little short, and we only saw two gators. I was hoping to get out a little further and see more wildlife, but i guess with the enormously loud fan boats, wildlife doesnt hang around. Regardless, it was really cool and the guides were very knowledgeable. I would however inquire about the 60 minute ride that I didn't even know about until after i bought the tickets.
