Choose to either start in the morning or afternoo. Complete paperwork and sign waivers and Receive your ATV safety briefing and orientation, then your ready to go. See and pass the sights of Nassau with a narrated tour; including the Government House, Fort Charlotte, Arawak Cay, Bahamar, and Queens Staircase, Water tower, and Tasty teas. Ride along a scenic beach route to discover Nassau's most popular attraction, the Caves. Enjoy a full Bahamian lunch at one of the local restaurants, then head back to where your tour started from.

On this comprehensive yet fun tour, you will be able to feel and see the natural beauty of Nassau, the vibrant energy and local flavor that is only found here. Your experienced local driver will guide you on an itinerary that will cover many significant historical and cultural locations. The tour will begin at The Rum Cake Factory, where you will have the opportunity to sample the six flavors that are made at the factory. Next, the Queens Staircase, the 102-ft., 65-step staircase carved from solid limestone by slaves in 1793, surrounded by lush, tropical vegetation. In the 1800s, the steps were named to honor Queen Victoria for her role in ending slavery in the British Empire. Right nearby is the Water tower. You will visit the famous tea store, Tasty Teas which was founded by mother and son. All of the different teas are made from organic Bahamian herbs, fruits, a spice. Moving on, you'll pass the Government House, the official residence of the Governor-General of the Bahamas. Painted a distinctively lovely Bahamian shade of conch pink, it is considered one of the finest examples of Georgian Colonial architecture in the Islands. The immense Fort Charlotte, set on more than 100 acres, is another reminder of the city's past. Built between 1787 and 1790 to protect the west side of the harbor from attack, the fort is set on a hill overlooking Arawak Cay and offers superb views of the Nassau Harbor. And speaking of Arawak Cay, it is next up on our historical exploration of Nassau. Named after the original West Indian inhabitants of the island, Arawak Cay was built from the sands dredged during construction of Nassau's harbor. This bustling street in the heart of the city is known for its live music and Bahamian restaurants and bars offering authentic dishes and beverages, each with their own unique spin. Point your ATV toward the Caves, a place that is purported to have been used by pirates in the late 1600s and early 1700s, but is now home to much friendlier fruit bats. Walk down the stone stairs and let your imagination picture how pirates used it to store their barrels of rum and ill-gotten gains. Next enjoy a local Bahamian lunch with a beverage that will deliver a final, delicious taste of Nassau. Then take a nice ride along the outskirts and see the sandy beaches at Clifton pier and the Poinciana flowers that creates an arch for you to ride under. Discover Nassau's lesser-known treasures on this sightseeing bus tour. Begin with a brief stop in Rawson Square, located in downtown Nassau, to view and learn about its historical government buildings. Take in the numerous statues of Queen Victoria and hear about the first black Bahamian Governor General. Continuing on to Fort Fincastle and explore the historical landmark known as the Queen's staircase. Afterwards, continue on to view the governor's mansion. Next, head toward the largest fort on the island, Fort Charlotte, and enter to explore hundreds of years of history. After a healthy dose of history, journey along towards the rum cake factory to taste some of the country's finest treats. Tasty teas, which is a Bahamian owned facility that produces 11 signature tea blends and a bevy of tropical juices and iced teas. Guests will learn and sample different flavors of the tea and juices. Greycliff Chocolate Factory; This is a chocoholic’s dream can come true. At Greycliff they make their own chocolates under the tutelage of the master chocolatier and guests will have the opportunity to indulge these delicious gourmet chocolates. Rum Cake Factory: Guests will learn about the top-secret ingredients of the many flavors of rum cake, baked to perfection, and gently marinated in a signature brand of Ole Nassau Bahamian Rum. These cakes have become not just a dessert, but also an important part of a new lifestyle for both Bahamians and tourists. John Watlings Distillery: This is the home to JOHN WATLING’S Rum, the “Spirit of The Bahamas” – It is where its namesake rum and other spirits are handcrafted by Bahamian hands, using local materials and employing traditional English rum-making methods. Pompey Square; is a free-spirited social hub for local festivals, art shows, lounging and child’s play. There is an interactive water feature in the Centre of the square; surrounding it are restaurants, bars, souvenir shops and the Pompey Museum of Slavery and Emancipation This tour lasts for 2 hours, and the guests will have about 15-20 minutes at each stop.
