Vieste: Wine Tasting & Vineyard Walk to Cantine Merinum

I would be honored to let you live a sensory experience and introduce you to the Gargano with different eyes and to welcome you to my cellar and my vineyard to talk to you about this land and wine, an incredible drink that unites us and excites us. These incredible culinary stories will be told outdoors at the Merinum Cellars, located inside the Padre Pio Estate. A very suggestive location, immersed among centuries-old olive trees. The tasting will take place outdoors, barring rain, where we will use our internal tasting room, we will taste three different types of wine, and extra virgin olive oil, accompanying them with delicious typical products and dishes (salami, cheeses and bruschetta from the Gargano, Chef's fantasies). Afterwards, we will visit the Cellar and my wave-shaped vineyard, where you will complete your training, letting you personally know the native vines of this land, which I guarantee will remain in your heart. During this sensory experience, you will be moved and you will learn the basics of how to appreciate and taste a wine. I will be happy to answer your questions, if you need a transfer service to take you to our facility or simply if you need a room or a restaurant. Possibility of serving dishes, for those who have intolerances.

Tour Of Padre Pio: From Pietrelcina To San Giovanni Rotondo

Tour Of Padre Pio: From Pietrelcina To San Giovanni Rotondo

The journey to Puglia takes us to this town in the province of Foggia, which every year receives 6 million visitors. All thanks to the figure of Saint Pius, who lived here and did good things. Beloved and controversial figure, is undoubtedly the great protagonist of the history of Catholicism of the last century. A fame that lasts today in decades, if not centuries, to come. Of this he thanks a small town in the Gargano, which has seen its tourism explode thanks to the prodigious presence of this man. In San Giovanni Rotondo, Padre Pio spent most of his life, and there he accomplished the works. The faithful look to miracles, but even those who do not believe cannot deny the influence that the humble Capuchin friar had on the masses. A great personality. Whether you are believers or not, the cult of San Pio can be a pretext to visit a delightful village of the country, of those who only opting for holidays in Italy can be admired.

A beautiful, absolutely worthwhile boat trip along the coast from Vieste to the Baia della Zagare. Our experienced boatman steered his super clean little boat through the beautiful grottos and explained the different meanings of the grottos. We took two wonderful swimming breaks. After about 3 hours we went back to Vieste

The wines were superb!! we thought we would just get a few snacks, but the food was absolutely delicious and more than we expected. It was an excellent value in a charming restaurant. The young lady who served us was excellent. Wish the proprietor would have been a little more involved.
