Things to do in Flowers Bay, Roatán

Get picked up from the cruise terminal or your hotel and start a sightseeing tour of the island. Explore the local communities for about 1.5 hours and then have free time to shop, take photos, or wander around. Learn about the area's culture and history, meet local people, and see the real Roatán. To maximize your day at the island, you can choose up to 3 additional activities. The following activities can be added on at the checkout: Zipline (45 minutes) - Feel the thrill while zipping, gliding, and doing different flips over stunning 360-degree views of the forest canopy. The zip-line route is composed of 16 lines, 24 platforms, and 3 suspended bridges. Monkey and Sloth Sanctuary (30 minutes) - Visit Daniel Johnson’s Monkey and Sloth Hangout, a family-run animal sanctuary and a safe and loving environment for many animals. Learn all about sloths, capuchin monkeys and parrots, with a guided tour through the park. Horseback Riding (1 hour) - The ride consists of going up the hilltop to admire spectacular views and to take pictures. Then, ride through the jungle taking in the local fauna, before riding along the beach. You will be given a horse based on your experience and activity level. Glass-bottom Boat (50 minutes) - Sit 6 feet (1.83 m) below the surface with windows on either side of you, so you can admire the marine life of the Caribbean Sea.  Beach Break at West End or West Bay (1 hour) - Have fun in a private beach club for some relaxation and fun on a pristine sandy beach. Beach chairs, bathrooms, a changing room, WI-FI, and a freshwater shower are all included. Snorkeling (1 hour) - board a 15-passenger speed boat for a relaxing cruise around the bay and West End. After enjoying the coastline views, stop for a refreshing swim and take advantage of the snorkeling gear provided. Explore the beauty of Roatán's coral reefs. Swim among sea turtles, squids, schools of fish, and other marine wildlife. Parasailing (1 hour) - Parasail high above the Bay of Honduras and fill your senses with awe from 800 feet (0.24 km), looking down upon magnificent living reefs and flying eye level with jungle-covered mountains. Roatán Botanical Garden (1hour 30 minutes) -  Stroll through a diverse collection of flowering plants, ferns, spices, fruit trees, hardwood trees and orchids. Trails lead up the valley through arid tropical forest to the top of Carambola Mountain, where you can admire the colors of the coral reefs below and see all the way out to the island of Utila. Also, interact with hundreds of domesticated iguanas roaming freely in their protected environment. This haven is also home to monkeys, parrots, lobsters, sea turtles and other marine animals.  Butterfly & Monkey Park (45 minutes): See and learn about some of Honduras' most colorful butterflies, including varieties such as the common owl, zebra, helicopter, firecracker, Julia's, sunset longwing, monarch, and queen. Join the guided tour or explore the park on your own. There is a chance to see sloths and monkeys too.

At the Eco park, you will get to interact with a variety of animals, take a picture with the monkey sitting on your head our shoulder, and wacth them running around in their natural inhabitants, also you get to cuddle the sloths and take along your camera to make sure you get your photo cuddling a sloth, we also have macaws, tucan and much more, at the eco-park this tour is designed especially for the animal's lovers and for those that like to enjoy nature, it's a tour for the hold family to enjoy. Along the way, you will make various stops such as the Highest point for shopping and sightseeing, take pictures with the city of Coxen Hole in the background, this also includes a trip to the chocolate & rum factory (I mean who doesn’t love chocolate and rum right?), where you will receive a briefing on the products and free samples of the different types of chocolates, various rum & rum cake that are all made here on the island, oh hold up! just a quick 411 that “BANANA RUMCAKE” is one of the best you’ll ever taste and let us not forget to mention the “MANGO FLAVORED RUM” it’s simply amazing. You will hold, learn all about sloths, capuchin monkeys, scarlet macaws, and parrots, with a guided tour through the park. After that you will head down to Hamilton Ranch where you will meet your friendly horse once you receive your safety briefing you will hop on and make your way out on natural trail and out into the water. After your horseback ride you will make your way down to west bay to board your boat for a 5 minute ride out to the reef to start your under-water adventure you will swim with a lot of different coral and colorful fishes that swim-by. After your adventures you can visit the chocolate and rum factory or just head back to your ship or hotel.

Enjoy a Half-day full of exitment and adventure. Once you set off from your Roatan ship terminal you will head down to Hamilton Ranch where you will meet your local guide and friendly horse, once given your safety briefing you will hop on your horse and head out on mangrove and natural trail stopping along the way for your photo opps, before going out into the water. After your horseback ride you will head over to the west end village where you will visit the chocolate and rum factory for a tour of the facility. Once finish you head down to west bay beach for some beach relaxation time at a private beach club for you and your family or friends to enjoy before heading back to your ship or hotel.

Snorkel on the second largest coral reef on planet Earth in the warm turquoise waters of Roatan, Honduras. From beginners to professionals, this is an experience that everyone can enjoy. Start with a pick-up from the port and enjoy a panoramic drive to West End, where the party goes on with many bars and clubs at night... During the day, visit the local beach with a restaurant and souvenir shops. Later, head to the beach to board a boat and set off on a ride, passing by dolphins to find the best spot in the reef to jump into the water and snorkel. After snorkeling, return to West End to enjoy the shops, restaurants, and snacks. Visit the chocolate factory and enjoy the "Local Beach" at Half Moon Bay Beach. Finally, stop at the Roatan sign for an iconic picture before returning to the port.
