Full description

Embark on a full-day tour of Key West from Miami. Feel the Caribbean atmosphere of the Florida Keys and explore at your own pace. See important sites, including Hemingway’s House, or opt to swim in the sea.

Start with a 4-hour drive across 43 bridges and 31 islands to America's “Caribbean Islands,” the Florida Keys. The string of islands and islets, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico, leads to Key West, the only frost-free city in the continental United States! Once in Key West, experience a Caribbean atmosphere complete with friendly street artists, lively outdoor cafés, and alfresco restaurants. Spend some time exploring Key West on your own.

Book lovers might like to visit Ernest Hemingway’s House to see the former home of the famous author. Or, if you prefer, you can go to the southernmost point of the continental United States at the famous "90 miles to Cuba" Monument.

Explore museums, such as the Mel Fisher Museum, the Light House Museum, or Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum (tickets not included). Feel the pulse of Key West at Mallory Square next to the cruise ship port. You may also choose to add one of our most popular adventure activities, such as a snorkeling trip to see tropical fish, a ride in a glass-bottom boat, or the hop-on and hop-off sightseeing trolley bus (tickets not included in the price). Depart Key West at 5:30 PM for the drive back over the bridges and islands.

Great tour guide, excellent bus driver. They kept us well informed and both were very friendly and trustworthy. Once on the island, I would not recommend the trolley tour. You're much better off renting a scooter for $65 for the day or renting a golf cart. You'll be much happier. (The rental places are everywhere on the island)

This was a long day, but with the effort, especially since I didn’t have to drive. A couple of things: I expected COVID precautions, but there were none. I expected to be asked to wear a mask the whole time, but was not. I also expected a temperature check prior to boarding, but there was not. That didn’t stop me from policing myself! The bus was FULL. But the group was courteous. Orlando was our guide on the bus… he was awesome! He does try to sell additional excursions while on the bus, but I want interested. I have checked Key West off my bucket list!!

We had a great day at the Keys! We bought the passage to Key West from Miami Beach. We paid an extra $10 pp to be picked up from our hotel. We also bought the parasailing tour on board. Bring cash! Had to pay an extra credit card surchage fee to the guide who was pushing all the tours on us. The snorkeling tour was very very full but not as many people on the parasailing tour. We had a great time. The parasailing tour was a well-oiled machine. The captain took us out and we all went up 2 at time. His assistant took A LOT of photos which we could buy at the end of the boat trip. it was worth it for a all the pictures you got. We then walked around the island, found a fantastic lunch place called Kaya Island Eats. Super inexpensive, especially during Happy Hour - half price appetizers, and the chef was amazing. We tried to get to the beach afterwards but it was pretty tight so we just went to the 0 mile marker and the outside of Hemmingway's home and headed to the bus. A great day!
