What people are saying about Florence

Overall rating

4.6 / 5

based on 8,258 reviews

The experience was just as described, and very good. Several people turned up late and didn't understand the nature of the tour, causing a delay but our guide was very professional with them and later thanked the rest of us for our patience. The frescoes inside were explained very well, and we had a good amount of time up on the cupola terrace. I found I could not always hear the sound through the earpiece as we climbed up and down the staircase but that may have been due to the stone structure.

We had a great half-day trip to Pisa from Florence. The meeting point is near the train station and you board a comfortable bus to Pisa. The travel time is a little over an hour. When we reached, we were introduced to our guide who took us on a tour of the Cathedral and gave us information about the Baptisary and the Leaning Tower. You can buy tickets to climb the Tower, which we did, and trust me - totally worth it!! Overall, it was a well organised trip and I would recommend to all.

This was a very nice tour and probably a good way to explore Pisa from Florence. The tour guide was very nice and made us understand the history of the place. The tour was well organized to make sure that everyone was at comfort. The transport bus was nice and comfortable.
