Full description
Explore one of the world’s great art galleries with this ticket to the Uffizi Gallery in central Florence on a monolingual guided tour. Avoid the legendary ticket lines to get inside, and then tour the handsome 16th-century building, designed by Giorgio Vasari a few feet from the banks of the River Arno. Discover masterpieces by Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raffaello, Giotto, Cimabue, Masaccio, and many more, all in the company of an authorized guide. Highlights of the treasure chest of art include Botticelli's famous "Primavera," and "Birth of Venus," the latter the museum’s unofficial emblem. Once the star attraction on the Grand Tours of Europe, you will discover wonders from the early days of the Renaissance and the collections of the Medici family. Once your guided tour is over, you are free to explore the galleries on your own.

A unique experience. Our guide, Paola, was wonderful: she talked for more than three hours (although the tour lasted two hours), she was very well prepared, she answered every question and made the tour also interactive by involving us in the explanations. It is absolutely impossible to visit the Uffizi without a guide; give yourself this gift, you will not regret it.

Enlightening Art History Lesson

The visit was scheduled for 3:15 pm, but we only left at 4:20 pm. As far as I could understand, it was because the different companies hired to do the guided tour were relocating visitors so that the groups at that time had about the same number of people. Even so, it was worth the wait, because the time was compensated, and the visit lasted the two hours contracted. I am an art lover, but I have never done any course. Thus, it was very important to visit the works with the assistance of someone who has this knowledge. The Giulia guide was efficient in everything: before starting the visit, I asked her to speak Spanish slowly, because my language is Portuguese; she kindly answered my request throughout the visit. She is deeply knowledgeable about the main works visited, was always attentive to the group members so that they did not disperse, always tried to find a gap between the other groups so that we could appreciate the works at an ideal angle.
