The Uffizi Gallery is a treasure, displaying the art of Medieval and Renaissance masters. The timed entrance ticket helped to cut down on the wait and crowds, so my family and I could enjoy the collection in a more meaningful way. Well worth it to get the timed ticket in advance.

It's easy to locate the place and how to change your tickets, but it's necessary to be on time or you'll have to stay in a long line. The Gallery is big, you'll have to take lots of stairs to get to the top then you'll see numerous statues, paintings, etc. Try staying there at least 4 hours, because there are a lot of things to see.

There is too much to see in one trip. It is a fantastic museum. If I had to do it again I would just pick a few items that I really wanted to see and concentrate on that. It is overwhelming. It was a fabulous experience. I want to go back and see more and this time concentrate on specific artists or time frame like the renaissance.
