Experience the wonders of Tuscany on one memorable day. Leave Florence for a 12-hour excursion and see the beautiful landscapes, architecture, and artworks of the region.

Treat yourself to some local cuisine, and opt for a guided tour in your preferred language to learn even more about the historic area.

Begin with the visit at Piazza del Campo, where the Palio di Siena horse race is run, and Piazza del Duomo, where you will see the exterior of the magnificent cathedral.

After some free time in Siena you'll have lunch at Piazza del Campo. Then go ahead to the vineyard, where you can enjoy some local wine and visit San Gimignano, a UNESCO-listed medieval town.

Continue to Pisa and to visit its stunning Piazza dei Miracoli. Admire the Baptistery, the cathedral, and, of course, the famous leaning tower.

It was a good tour - a little tiring because it took 13 hours total. Enrica was a very good guide. Two persons from the group were late and the bus was about to leave them when Enrica spotted them and ran all the way down steep roads to get them.

Easily accessible from Florence by public transport. Tour starts quite early but otherwise you'll finish too late so fine. We were the first to sienna, we had the guided tour including cathedral. The tour was short with little content, also the tour in the cathedral was short. I recommend that you take a look at wikipedia yourself to prepare yourself. Then we went for lunch, which was tasty and well arranged. Then we went wine tasting in a wine tasting, very nice explanation and nice wine. When to san gimignano and pisa, we had very short time (1 hour) for both cities. Because a few people were late in san gimignano we had less time in pisa and had to hurry. It is just enough to get a nice impression of the cities. Nice enthusiastic guides.

The Spanish guide did not appear. They gave the explanations in English, Italian and French. The guide that came made an effort to speak in Spanish but she understood better in Italian than in her Spanish. Luckily the three of us spoke English and we had no problems. It was understood in English and Italian. As for lunch, it was pretty basic. A fairly small bruschetta, with three slices of cold cuts and a tiny plate of macaroni. The visit to the Chianti winery had a small aperitif which made up for the meager lunch. If it is true that in general, despite the fact that it is long and a bit heavy, it is worth it.
