This was a an amazing experience! It was very easy to find the meeting point and sign waivers. After meeting at the bike shop we were driven about 20-30 mins to a private winery where we were first given a small tour and explanation of the wine making process. Then for vespa riders we were given a demonstration of how a vespa works and were given two chances to ride the vespa. The guides determine if you are able to ride on your own and if not you can ride as a passenger with them. Safety first! I was able to ride on my own and my partner rode with one of the guides. The views from the countryside were amazing either way and it was such a cool experience!! After the drive we had a light lunch with bread, salad, cheese, pesto pasta and of course wine (rose, red, and dessert). Then after this we were taken back to the meeting spot! It was a great time and a great group, they thought of everything and were very helpful!

This was by far the best tour that we have done. If you can only do one tour from Florence and have the physical ability to ride a Vespa…this is the one to do. Simply amazing experience with patient and pretty funny tour guides who look out for your safety first. Tour of the winery, Lunch and wine tasting was the icing on the cake. I cannot say enough great things about this tour.

The highlight of this tour is... Dejan!! (I call him Sylvester Stallone, my wife calls him young Al Pacino, and he calls himself Borat.. meet him and decide for yourself). He's the owner/guide. He is hilarious and will have a successful stand-up comedy career if pursued. Kevin was the other guide and was amazing as well. We met at 10 AM at shop and we drove to the winery. He conducted a test drive for all of us, and some people bailed out and decided to be passengers. The vespa ride itself was about 40 mins and was fairly enough. We were served amazing Italian food with good portions. Note: bring your driver's license or a scan of it, one of the people with us was pressured to be a passenger because of this reason. Again... a vespa tour is one thing, and a vespa with Dejan is something else!! 7 stars, not 5!!
