Following a pick-up from your hotel, transfer to Siena to see one of the world’s most famous squares. Go to the shell-shaped Piazza del Campo, designed to follow the contours of the surrounding hills, and learn more about its famous "Palio di Siena" horse race. Stroll around the historical center. Then, visit an organic farm for a lunch of Tuscan produce, olive oil and cheese. Join the farmers for a glass of wine and a chat.
Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of San Gimignano, and admire the tall medieval towers of the “Manhattan of the Renaissance.” Enjoy views of the Val d’Elsa, and learn about the Via Francigena, part of the historic pilgrim route from Canterbury to Rome.
