The day trip was good. A long bus ride to get to Montepulciano from Florence after catching the tram to meet the bus. This made for a long day especially with the return trip. The winery and wine tasting was nice. It was raining on the day of our tour so when we got to Montepulciano we went straight to a restaurant to have lunch. The next stop was in Pienza which was a bit dull as most things were closed and we ended up just walking around in the rain trying to find gelato. I think it would be better in the peak season with better weather. The bus, driver and guide were all lovely and knowledgeable.

We had an amazing time exploring Montepulciano and Pienza, both of which are beautiful towns like out of a storybook. Our guide Marco went above and beyond to make sure all members of the group felt comfortable. He translated in English and Spanish, and was so willing to help us capture the memories by being our photographer. He gave great tips for food at each town we visited. We would do the tour again.

Quite nice.. montepulcano and pienza both were cute..The guide was quite nice...winery and tasting were fine. u do spend a lot of time traveling though..and they also pick up and drop a group from Sienna so there is a detour if you are traveling from Florence.
