Full description

Experience Michelangelo's David with a skip-the-line entry ticket for the Accademia Gallery Museum. Explore this pearl in Florence with access to all parts of the museum and an optional audio guide. This museum contains more sculptures by Michelangelo than anywhere else in the world.

After skipping the ticket lines, start exploring masterpieces created by artists who lived and worked in Florence during the Renaissance, including Botticelli, Filippino Lippi, Pietro Perugino, Paolo Uccello, and many others.

If you select the audio guide option, plug in your headphones to learn about the highlights of the museum as you explore. Continue to the Four Prisoners and the San Matteo in the hall of Michelangelo, an impressive room dominated by the David.

Go to the Museum of Musical Instruments, where you can admire the piano known as the most ancient piano existing in the world along with the priceless Viola Stradivari, created for the Grand Prince Ferdinando Medici.

Before the end of your visit, make sure to see the renovated Gipsoteca Bartolini, a showroom of sculptures and busts related to the sculpture Lorenzo Bartolini.

Great experience, amazing seeing Michelangelo's David in person, and there were some other cool pieces in the museum, I just wish they were a little more spread out. They are sort of crowded together Also when I got there first thing in the morning the ticket line was tiny, making the skip the line part of the ticket kind of useless, but I didn't want to take a chance

Our guide was amazing Instead of just walking in and taking photos, she sat us down and really discussed David’s position and history. We didn’t get much time to look at anything else. The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because the cruise excursion included entry and i thought the ship was just dropping us off so I bought additional tickets through GetYourGuide. GYG refused to refund my purchase which is understandable but it would have been nice to at least receive a credit or a discount for another purchase since I’ve bought tons of events through GYG for cities all over the world. Also be sure to check “voucher” addresses You MUST find the specific location first which is NOT Always the location you bought tickets for; allow time for walking to random offices to pick up entry tickets as your GYG “ticket” is not always going to allow you to enter the intended facility.

Worth being on one of the first groups to get in, in the morning! Be sure to head straight for David while the crowd is a little smaller… marvel at it for a good while and take photos… and THEN see the rest of the museum. I had obviously seen photos and such prior to visiting, but it is ridiculous at how… I’m going to say sublime… how sublime the statue of David is when you’re standing right in front of it. Make this the first stop of your day, and again, it is worth paying a little to get in right away as they open for the day.
