Stop for 2 hours at Pisa, home of the spectacular Piazza dei Miracoli, where you will see Pisa’s most significant attractions, including the Leaning Tower, Baptistry, Campo Santo, and Duomo di Pisa (Pisa Cathedral). Next, travel by local train from La Spezia station, on the Pisa to Genoa line, to Cinqueterre National Park. We started with a rough start as the majority of those on this trip arrived at the meeting point at 7am per the information- apparently this was not updated from last season so our guide showed up 40 minutes later. The guide, Elisa, handled the disgruntled well and got us all on track - we did have further delays due to a last minute rail strike which left us in Pisa for 3 hours - we only got to see 2 of the 5 towns in cinque terre - however despite these hiccups it was a wonderful trip!

Great time, great guide! Ned was super friendly, knowledgeable and easy to get along with. He provided us with a lot interesting historical background on all of the places we visited, while also providing straightforward and clear guidance on where to meet, ensuring everyone in the group was always accounted for as we moved from location to location. We were both really happy with with him as our guide and enjoyed the conversations!

Julia was amazing, if it wouldn’t be for her it would be difficult for first timers like me to navigate. We got a lot done in one day. It was a great experience. We had 2 hrs in Pisa and then around 50 mins on each island. It was a good preview would definitely recommend for first timers. But not for families with kids under 12 or folks with walking issues.
