Enjoy a day out in the beautiful Tuscan landscape, where the famous Brunello wine is produced, and learn more about the wine's production and the region's history.
What to Expect
This winery tour begins with a 09:30 departure from Florence, from where you will first head to the beautiful village of Montalcino. Here you will have your first guided tour and wine tasting at a small producer of Brunello. Visit the cellars and learn about the origin and production of this world-renowned wine. Taste the wine in evolution straight from the barrel, and during a typical Tuscan lunch enjoy DOCG Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino DOC. On request, you can also visit the vineyards and learn about viticulture and production from the wine maker.
In the afternoon, enjoy a second visit, with another wine tasting, at a producer in the Val d’Orcia and Chianti region. Here you can also taste Tuscan extra virgin olive oil.
