Florence: Uffizi Gallery Priority Entrance and Tour

We were late to our tour which was unfortunate but they were still able to take us and we are so thankful for that! We had issues finding our guide as well but everyone we spoke to was very helpful in finding her. The rest of the people in our tour were very gracious as well despite us being late. The Uffizi is just SO LARGE, we really didn’t expect that. You could spend dayssss in there and still not see it all. So our guide did a selection of some pieces to show us and discuss which was great. We got a great idea of some of the history and how the art changed with the times and influences. At the end, we were able to stay as long as we wanted and peruse the museum at our leisure which was lovely, especially since it was early in the morning so plenty of time to stay with less crowds.

We like that everything ran on time and it was smooth. We loved the individual narration of each site. Our guide Ivano was full of very interesting stories about each of the artists and their artwork. It was much better than a digital audio guide that is self guided.
