Are you a wannabe-chef or simply interested in learning the tricks and secrets behind some of the excellent meat served in Tuscany? Join this class near Dante’s house in the very heart of Florence. You’ll be welcomed inside a real restaurant kitchen with a glass of bollicine (sparkling wine) and a typical Tuscan antipasto. During this special cooking class, you’ll learn everything about the Florentine steak, made with the precious Chianina, one of the best Italian breeds of cattle. Professional chefs will teach you how the meat is conserved and prepared before consuming it. First, get an introduction to the world-famous tartare, learning which knife is utilized and how to prepare the perfect beaten meat. Then, enter the Chianina steak cooking lesson, with all the suggestions regarding seasoning and serving for grilled meats and side vegetables in mind. Before obtaining your meat cutter diploma and the gifts prepared, for a sweet end, you’ll have also a tiramisù cooking lesson. Following the experience, you’ll be capable of preparing a traditional Italian menu.
