Discover world-famous paintings, sculptures, and tapestries with this timed entry ticket to the Accademia Gallery in Florence. See iconic pieces by Michelangelo like 'the Prisoners', 'St. Matthew' and the statue of David. View works by other famous masters like Bartolini.  Admire the 5.17-meter marble statue representing the Biblical hero David, a favored subject in Florentine art. The statue soon came to symbolize the defence of civil liberties embodied in the Republic of Florence, an independent city-state threatened on all sides by more powerful rival states and by the hegemony of the Medici family.    In the adjacent rooms, which were part of two former convents, important works of art are collected here from the Academy of Design, the Academy of Fine Arts and from suppressed convents.  Recently the Gallery has been further enriched by the important collection of old musical instruments from the Cherubini Conservatory, the Department of Musical Instruments.

  • Please note that the date and time slot you choose is binding once booked. You will be refused entry if you do not respect this allotted entry time

Excellent, you can see numerous works of art, and especially Michelangelo's David. Who dominates the entire museum. You can hear them very well with the audio and you don't have to go out into the street and go through security checks again to return the radio.

Visiting the Accademia Gallery was very easy with the help of Get Your Guide. We didn’t have to wait in line and picking up our tickets was quick and easy. Seeing Michaelangelo’s work in real life was incredible. David is truly a marvel and definitely a must-see!

We collected our tickets from the location shown on the app no problem but then weren't told where to go. There is a blue line, a green line and a red line all going in to see David. We didn't know which one to join so we went to the green line. The staff ran toward us shouting and screaming because we should go to the blue line. Looking back it was like a comedy skit from a movie at how over the top they were. Oh well, now we know. It didn't ruin our experience. As for the David, it's much bigger than expected and I'm happy I got to see it.
