An absolutely stunning synagogue. The architecture, rich history, artifacts, and small museum are beautiful and fascinating. I spoke with a volunteer who was responsive and engaging, I learned a lot. The synagogue is monitored by armed guard with cameras everywhere, sadly, not unlike all synagogues around the world. A definite visit for those interested in Jewish history, history of Florence, Italian history, and architecture. Lovely experience.

Wonderfully preserved synagogue. Security is very high and well organized. Loved the architecture and the respect the staff has for the prayer area. They kindly ask that men wear kippah when entering. I would have loved to see a bigger selection at the store with more judaica and souvenirs.
