Our tour had a rocky start, partly because our transfer from the cruise terminal was running late and partly because the instructions for the meeting point and finding our guide could have been clearer. With that said, once we found and joined our group, we felt that it was the best guided art tour that we ever had. Our guide Rosa was genuinely passionate about every piece of art that she had chosen to showcase. She pointed out the details that we would have missed on our own. Rosa also helped us to better understand the artist’s state of mind at the time the art was created and to feel an emotional connection with each piece. Instead of quickly going through the description and explanation, that can be found in the textbook, Rosa was engaging, asking us questions and making us discover the meaning behind the paintings and sculptures that are so familiar, and yet are full of surprises. Rosa, thank you!

Our guide, Leticia, was excellent. She was very knowledgeable about the subjects. I was worried about a 4 hour tour but it went by so fast. We even stopped for some genuine Italian gelato. Leticia pointed out things about the art that I never would have noticed and explained the pieces. I highly recommend.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. She enhanced the experience without a doubt. The only thing that was less than ideal was the spotty connections with the radio that the guide used on the tour — we kept getting interference from other guides giving tours in the museum. Overall it was a good experience.
