- easy to find an office where to exchange voucher for ticket - it’s better to purchase an entrance ticket by yourself on official website. But if you, as me, decided to do it late and there is no tickets, then that is a great option for affordable amount of money - it is the ticket for whole duomo complex
Definitely worth it. Just to be clear - there is no no actual ‘guide’. You get the 72 hour/3-day Brunelleschi Pass where you get access to all of the Piazza del Duomo (Baptistery, Bell Tower, etc.) but usually does not include the ticket to climb the Duomo. So you get the pass PLUS the skip-the-line Duomo ticket (Duomo climb tickets usually sell out well in advance). Follow the instructions to pick up the tickets early if you arrive before your climb date/date so you can explore the other attractions. Women + men: you must cover your shoulders and knees (so wear long pants/skirts and bring a shall or cover-up)!
