Palazzo Vecchio deserves to be seen. A great discovery for those who have not yet had the opportunity to visit it. Already from the Internet you can know what there is, but the architectural beauties and frescoes, statues, rich in history and inestimable value, live are another thing and can be appreciated in the right way, if you have a top guide like Leonardo!

Essential for fully understanding the history of Florence and the Medici. Our guide, Giacomo Picard, a Florentine and an architect by training, wonderfully explained the history of the city to us and commented on the frescoes and the architecture of the palace. He was able to illustrate the visit of documents he had with him in order to enrich his explanations. This visit was the key to all the others and allowed us to better decipher everything we saw in Florence

Honestly this was the most amazing tour we have had in Florence yet! Leonardo was our tour guide and I HIGHLY recommend him. He brings the tour to life, gives such great information and details, and is so patient and kind. Hospitality and knowledge all in one. We had two young kids with us and he was so great with us and them, and ensured we all went the elevator route just to stay together. The tour is a gem, truly amazing to see and experience while in Florence. Recommend doing it if you have an extra hour to squeeze in a tour! It’s a must see!
