This was a very efficient way to see this masterpiece and the guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. The only reason I cannot rate as excellent is due to the very crowded and extremely hot space. The Academie is simply not conducive to a pleasant experience.

Irina was by far the best tour guide we have ever had. Not only did she speak slowly and clearly, but the information she gave us was interesting and engaging. She even sent us a PDF with the entire tour plus more stories that she didn’t have time to include. An all-around amazing experience.

Francesca was amazing, articulate and very knowledgeable. As she guided us through the Galleria dell’Accademia she gave us a great overview on the various works of art, particularly the David, where she spent the most time speaking about the sculptor Michaelangelo and his masterpiece. She provided a detailed account of the Renaissance period and the art history of that time. The tour was exactly what we had hoped for and would definitely recommend it to others.
