Start your tour with a relaxing and scenic bus tour, that offers panoramic views of the unparalleled beauty of Florence and the surrounding countryside. Head first to Fiesole, a delightful town set on a hill overlooking Florence, before traveling along the romantic Viale dei Colli up to Piazzale Michelangelo. At this square, considered one of the most beautiful in the world, you can stop to admire the amazing panorama of the city. From there, board the bus and head back into Florence's historic city center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a guided tour of the Accademia Gallery, where you will be fascinated by the authentic Michelangelo's David and many other works of art by famous Renaissance artists. Your visit continues with the walking tour to the central Duomo square, home to the city's most beloved historic buildings. Admire the unique Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, featuring a striking green, pink and white marble exterior. Stop at the nearby Baptistery of St. John, where many important Italian Renaissance figures were baptized, and Giotto’s Bell Tower. A bit chaotic registering at the meeting place.

Although my group was not included on the registration list in error, a telephone call by the guide confirmed we had registered in advance. The ‘skip the line’ to see David was most helpful and the included lunch at gianino’s was very good!
