Full description
Discover the most visited museums in Florence alongside a professional guide. Together you'll admire the exhibit's most important works as you appreciate the art of the Italian Renaissance. Your guide will take you through the priority entrance into both galleries without having to wait in the long lines. Throughout your experience your guide will be on hand to explain the most important works of art which are contained inside the museums. The first stop will be the visit to The Uffizi Gallery with its pictorial collections and masterpieces by artists and protagonists of the Renaissance such as Michelangelo, Giotto, Botticelli, Caravaggio, Leonardo da Vinci, and many others. Later, the guide will take you to the Accademia Gallery to discover the most famous Florentine symbol: Michelangelo's David. The gallery is one of the places with the highest number of sculptures by Michelangelo, and is a place where you can also admire the museum of musical instruments, the collection of golden-background paintings, and the Sala dei Prigioni with sculptures designed for Pope Julius II.

Our guide was extremely educated about each and every painting or sculpture that was introduced to us. I learned too much. It was so nice to get in front of the lines to the museums. I would personally have liked a little less information about each painting so I could see a few more pieces.

Ricardo was very skilled at sharing his expertise about the museums and the works of art located there. He shared stories about the creators of the art that made the tour much more enjoyable. Booking the tour allowed us to skip the admissions lines and led to a more enjoyable experience. Good value for the money spent.

Francesca was our group’s tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and added much insight to our visit at the Uzzi Gallery. The tour helped us get into our next stop a little early so that we could see David at the Academy before leaving Florence. Laurie and Claude
