Discover traditional Tuscan flavors and delight your senses during a relaxing 5-hour excursion in the countryside of Chianti.
Your visit begins as you depart Florence and pass across the Chiantigiana countryside to reach the first farm and visit its characteristic wine cellars. The farmers will explain you the process of producing and storing wine. Enjoy tasting Chianti Classico, Chianti Riserva, Vermentino, and Morellino di Scansano, served with snacks of typical local products such as bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil, aromatic vinegar, salami, and cheese.
After the tasting, leave for a little town called Greve in Chianti, one of the most important towns of the Chianti area, where you will have free time to visit the town. You may also stop in the main square that hosts several Tuscan shops, where you can buy Tuscan salami and Tuscan wines.
Then continue through the scenic roads of Chianti's countryside, enjoying breathtaking scenery, until you reach a second winery where you can taste other kind of wines, such as Chanti DOCG, Chianti Rosè, and Supertuscany, and eat typical Tuscan salami and Cinta Senese salami.
In the late afternoon, return to Florence.
