Easy location to find to get tickets. This was a beautiful gallery with much more than just the statue of David. It doesn’t take very long to go thru the exhibit halls either. Maybe 1-2 hours.

Admire one of the world's most famous sculptures, Michelangelo's David, and see some of the sculptor's other works. Explore the Gallery with a useful guide in pdf format. Skip the long lines and enter the gallery via a separate entrance. Your reserved ticket allows you to skip the ticket office line and avoid the worry of whether or not tickets will be available.

Visit the main hall to see Michelangelo's statue of David and some of his unfinished works still bearing his chisel marks. Discover the Gipsoteca which houses original plaster models made by 19th-century Florentine sculptors. See original musical instruments belonging to the Medici, including 3 made by Stradivarius. Then, explore the painting galleries of the museum and see masterpieces by medieval and Renaissance painters. Go up to the top floor to admire huge Medieval altarpieces before concluding your visit.

  • During periods of high visitor traffic, your admission may be slightly delayed to maintain security; museum access is regulated based on the number of people inside
  • Exchange your voucher for a paper ticket and download the ebook at Florence Specialist Office Meeting Point
  • Important: be sure to arrive on time to the meeting point. The priority entrance tickets have a timed entrance and are valid for entrance for the selected time. Those who arrive late will lose their priority and will have to wait in the general admission line.

The office was easy to find and we got in within 15 min of our reservation time. The office was helpful in sharing which line to join as it could be confusing but they made it straightforward.
