Explore one of the great treasures of the Renaissance, and see art by masters of European painting on a guided tour of the Palatine Gallery, Florence. Located in the former residence of the grand-dukes of Tuscany and later King of Italy, the museum is the 2nd most important Florentine painting gallery after the Uffizi Museum. Follow your guide to see masterpieces by renowned artists, such as Rubens and Caravaggio. Learn to appreciate the skills and techniques of artists like Tiziano and Raffaello. Works are shown on dividers between the fantastic rooms of the Renaissance palace, still decorated with extravagant frescoes and stucco work. Excellent. The gallery tour was excellent. Audio system worked very well and we had no trouble hearing even in crowded rooms. Our guide Carmella was extremely knowledgeable and engaging - she loved questions and went out of her way to answer. History of Medici and standout artwork from 14C to 18C. Recommend without reservation.

My tour guide was lovely and very enthusiastic to answer any questions I might have had (Camille or Camilla I am sorry I do not remember your exact name but you were great.) I chose to extend my ticket and do a tour of the gardens as well, and the 3 hours I spent with the guide were nothing short of amazing. As for the Pitti Palace, the Gallery and the Gardens themselves they were brilliant, a lovely insight in the Medici family’s past, the artwork beautiful (I especially enjoyed the Raphael paintings) and the gardens so huge that you could spend an entire day walking around. Oh, did I mention the amazing view they offer?

We loved this tour. Our guide Daniela was amazing: passionate, she made the tour very interesting and kept our attention the whole time. I want to mention the quality of the services: we had to change the time of our tour due to a missunderstanding, but they were so kind as to offer the Boboli gardens tour.
