Just minutes from the bustling metropolis of Florence is the charming town of Fiesole. Located in the hills above Florence, Fiesole holds centuries of history and panoramic vistas of Florence and its environs. After meeting your guide at 10:00 AM in Florence, you’ll jet out of the city, passing where Leonardo da Vinci first experimented with the concept of flight, as well as a stunningly preserved roman amphitheater.
Afterwards, hike up Mount Ceceri, all the while gathering insights into the city’s history from your expert guide. At the top, 295 meters above Florence, your guide will lead you to Maiano Cave, where you’ll receive a guided tour of the beautiful grotto.
