The highlight of our Florence day trip! My husband and I had less than 12 hours in Florence and apart from the Accademia tour we did from a separate tour company, we didn’t know what to expect from the rickshaw tour with Stefano but we’re beyond glad that we did it— it was casual, fun and informational. Stefano is a very knowledgeable and passionate guide. We learned so much about the history of Florence during this city center tour. Stefano was engaging, took his time (we didn’t feel rushed), polite and humble. He also gave us time to snap photos at every stop we made— a big plus is that he takes great photos too! We highly recommend this enjoyable rickshaw tour with Stefano. If you’re planning a trip to Florence, book this tour— Stefano is the only one you need to show you around the city and the rickshaw is the best way to get around. It’s a cool experience and a trip you’ll remember!

Tickets are picked up at the Florence Specialists Tour offices, which are less than a minutes walk from the Accademia. The staff are helpful and the priority entry is worth every penny paid. The e-book is a nice extra, although the Accamemia Gallery has very informative signs beside every painting/statue. My recommendation is to go as early as possible and in off-peak months. We went in February and, having seen photos of huge crowds trying to reach David I was pleasantly surprised to reach him without any trouble at all.

Our tour guide Elizabeth was not only kind and funny, but a true art history scholar. She engaged us with stories and background about the artists that helped us to experience David and the famous Renaissance artists in ways that enhanced our visit immeasurably. She even went 2 hours overtime with us, guiding us through all the various rooms and art at the Uffizi. The time passed so quickly! Highly recommend.

I cannot emphasize how worthwhile this tour is. To be able to walk through passages, up narrow staircases, into rooms unchanged since the seventeenth century, and above the ceiling of the Hall of the Five Hundred, all not available on the regular tours, is priceless. Our group was only four people, and our guide was charming and wonderfully informative. I highly recommend this fabulous tour

Very good value for money. Our tour guide was very welcoming and knowledgable. Highly recommend!
