What to Expect
Experience an unforgettable day exploring the Ligurian landscapes on a full-day tour of Cinque Terre, and get to know the UNESCO World Heritage Site with the help of a Spanish or English-speaking guide.
Transfer from Florence by air-conditioned coach or minivan, and discover the beauty of an area where the sea and land fuse to create a unique landscape. Marvel at 18 kilometers of rocky coast, discovering hidden caves, beaches, and breathtaking landscapes along the way.
Much of the tour will be by train, although during the summer months you can also travel by boat. Visit tiny Manarola to discover an urban jewel of typical Genoese-style case-torri (tower houses).
Then, check out the village of Vernazza, overlooked by the remains of a castle and cylindrical tower from the 11th century. Continue to the 13th-century village of Riomaggiore, known for its historic character and local wines. Go to the “Pearl of Cinque Terre” at Monterosso and discover an ancient fishing village with beautiful beaches. Sample the local limoncello in a traditional wine shop.
