We’ll take you on an excursion from Florence to Cinque Terre, one of Italy's top destinations. Our experienced driver/guide will ensure that you experience the spectacular beauty of this coastal area that has been preserved over the centuries.
What to Expect
Join us on a full-day private tour of Liguria, known as Italy’s “Riviera”. This is a region that has produced both Cristoforo Colombo and delicious pesto sauce!
Your day begins when we pick you up from your hotel in Florence. Our expert driver/guide will take you through the western part of Tuscany while you enjoy views of the lovely countryside. You’ll learn about the history and culture of the places we pass through, including the medieval city of Lucca, the famous Carrara marble quarries and La Spezia – the popular resort on the sea.
We’ll spend a good part of our day in the national park of Cinque Terre. The park is a popular place for hiking, trekking and scuba-diving. During our time here we’ll visit four of the five fishing villages situated along this spectacular rocky coast.
You’ll walk between the first and second villages on the “the path of love" and then enjoy a boat ride to Vernazza, considered to be the loveliest of the four villages. We’ll have lunch here, and spend some relaxing time in Cinque Terre.
After lunch we’ll drive to the upper side of the national park for some fantastic views of the coastal villages from above.
