What People Are Saying About Florence
Our guide Beatriz was excellent. She were explaining in Spanish, which speak very well. Knowledgeable and very friendly. The ride was easy and with enjoyable views. I can do it again.
This tour was a lot of fun and very informative. I would definitely recommend that anyone who is on a first visit to Florence start out this way. You ride by a lot of the attractions so you get an idea of where things are and can decide what you want to revisit. You also receive a good historical overview so you know something about what you're going to see. As we continued on our visit of the city after the tour, we told many people about it and recommended that they try it. I've also already told friends in the U.S. about it.
Loved the tour, our guide Marzia had a lot of interesting stories of the town. The tour starts later because you walk with the guide to pick up the bikes at another stop. We took the 6 pm, after dark it's hard to get a good picture.
We enjoyed the tour around Florence and had excellent explanations from our guide!! We had a delicious ice cream, too!!
We made a last minute decision to go to Florence and were keen to see as much as we could in a short time. The cycling tour was a fun and informative way to do this and we were able to see more of the sights than would have been possible on the walking tour. Although you don't get time to go into the sites, it is definitely a useful way to help you narrow down which ones to see and to hear about ones you might lot have heard of. Our guide Francesca was very knowledge and ready to answer any questions we had. The tour went at a slow pace and was relatively flat after all so it should be fine for cyclists of all abilities. I would definitely recommend this tour.
