This Best of Florence Tour offers visitors the opportunity to see the city’s top sights in just a few hours. Your guided tour begins with a visit to see Michelangelo's David – the most popular man in Florence. Enjoy skip-the-line entrance and avoid the long queues. Once inside the Galleria your guide will lead you by the Slaves, lining the corridor leading to David.

Hear the story behind this iconic work of art and spot the details that make David one of the world's most captivating sculptures. With an expert art historian on hand and with a maximum of 10 people in your group you'll be able to have all your questions answered. Next you’ll feast your eyes on one of the city's architectural gems, Florence Cathedral. As you admire its dome from the outside, you’ll hear the story of how its architect Brunelleschi recovered lost knowledge and expanded the realm of what was deemed humanly possible all in his pursuit of building it. The beauty of Florence isn't confined to its galleries and churches, as you’ll see in the streets and piazzas of the Renaissance city. Enjoy a guided walk to see the best of the rest for a fuller understanding of the history and culture of Florence. At Piazza della Signoria, you’ll admire magnificent sculptures in the open air.

Hear about the notorious and influential Medici family at Palazzo Vecchio. Visit the Ponte Vecchio and enjoy the quirky architecture of the bridge. Before the end of your visit be sure to rub the nose of Il Porcellino to guarantee your safe return to Florence.

Be early or they leave you

Overall the tour was nicely done but we were left the day prior. Getting there only 3 min after departure time someone left a message without a phone number we could contact to meet up as we had gotten lost finding the meeting place. I then had to pay an additional $15 per ticket to move it to the following day which was an inconvenience as we had other plans. I rec IF you use them be there early as they leave people behind if your not there on the seconds when we made the tour the day following they left five minutes earlier then scheduled.

Good insight into Florence

Our guide Pia did a great job of explaining all of the sights we were seeing as well as some useful background information. Being a 3.5hr walking tour, you expect to feel a little weary at the end but it was all worth it. The benefit of 'skip the line' entry became very obvious as we approached the David and Duomo sites. The queues we witnessed had an anticipated wait of around two hours, while we walked straight in.

Informative & Interesting tour

Wait in line to see David or book a tour??? After seeing the long lines we knew we had made the right decision. Just the right amount of information on the tour and really liked the smaller group (14). Leader made adjustments to keep us dry when a downpour came. We felt it was a great tour for our short time in Florence. We highly recommend!!
