Full description
Discover the most visited art museums in Florence together with a professional guide. Admire their most important works as you gain a deeper understanding of the Italian Renaissance. Your guide will take you through the priority entrance into both galleries, without having to wait in the long ticket lines. Throughout your experience, your guide will be on hand to explain all about the most important works of art in the museums. The first stop will be the visit to the Uffizi Gallery, with its extensive collection of paintings. Admire masterpieces by artists and protagonists of the Renaissance, such as Michelangelo, Giotto, Botticelli, Caravaggio, Leonardo da Vinci, and many others. Later, the guide will take you to the Accademia Gallery to discover the most famous symbol of Florence: Michelangelo's David. The Accademia is home to one of the largest collections of Michelangelo's sculptures. Seeing the Accademia and Uffizzi with a guide is truly the only way to get to see the best of these musueums, and our guide, Christina, was very special and knowledgeable. Her ability to point out the most important items and give very understandable information about each piece was incredible. You cannot possibly see the entire Uffizzi in a day, and a guide can ensure that you see the absolutely most important items, plus not let you get lost in this huge building!!
