I was traveling by myself. Ramata and the driver were very helpful. It’s a good thing that Ramata stepped out of the restaurant to look for me at luncheon —otherwise, I never would have found my group! Her language skills are also very impressive — English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and, of course, Italian. The bus driver was helpful when I got to the meeting place early in the morning and none of the other group members were there. Both should be commended for making single travelers feel part of the group!

Excellent excursion. Monteriggioni is beautiful but Siena and San Gimignano are essential. The guide Giacopo very attentive and friendly. The guide to Siena Elena very good. Siena Cathedral is beautiful. The food that is included is correct. The visit ends with a wine tasting in a winery that was phenomenal. We had a very full day, fun and very enjoyable.

A big thank you to Antonnella for translating as much information as possible into French when we had been switched to an English and German group due to a lack of French speaking participants. The day is intense but gives a good overview of these destinations. The wine tasting at the end is too much for my taste, I would have preferred to have been able to stroll longer in Monteriggioni.
