Starting from the center of Athens, cycle through quiet neighborhoods for about 8 kilometers on safe bike lanes to reach the Athens “Riviera”. Ride on safe bike lanes to reach Niarchos cultural center that will house the new National Library and the National Opera. Ride along the coast for about 4 kilometers, passing by many interesting attractions such as the Tae Kwon do indoor hall, the Averof ship museum and Marina Flisvos. Your final destination is a nice beach, where you will have plenty of time for a coffee break or a light lunch. After about 30 minutes free time at the beach, take the same way back to the city center of Athens. Stop at a famous local pastry shop for a sampling of amazing Greek pies. At the end of the tour your guide will give you tips and suggestions for the rest of your holidays in Athens. Start your electric bike ride at the Dionysiou Areopagitou pedestrian road on a 4.5-hour tour that connects some of the most important sights in Athens, including the Acropolis Museum, Areios Pagos, Odeon of Herodes Atticus, Filopappos Hill, Pnyx, the Ancient Agora and Kerameikos. Leaving the archeological area behind, you’ll ride along the bicycle lane, cycling through popular areas such as Kallithea, Petralona, and Taurus, developed in the late 19th century. Soon approach the construction site of the new Opera House that will also host the National Library. As you continue on you’ll have superb views of Faliro Bay. The esplanade leads you to the Naval Museum, where you’ll see the battleship Averof and a replica of an ancient Greek trireme. Then you’ll enter the imposing Flisvos Marina, which hosts some of the biggest yachts around. Cycle along the coast, where Athenians would spend summer vacations. Holidaymakers would stroll along the magnificent boardwalk listening to the orchestra playing music in front of the Aktaion Palace, a luxurious hotel that remained open until the 1970s. Before ending the tour, you’ll have plenty of time to swim and relax at the beach, which was the first integrated swimming beach in Athens, established almost 150 years ago. There, for the first time, men and women were able to swim together. Following your swim, head back to the center of Athens on a relaxed ride by electric bike.

Had a great day! Picked up near our B&B. Beautiful authentic boat. Delicious lunch, freshly prepared, on board and something for everyone on the different islands. Cycling, swimming, site seeing, history... We were served at our beck and call by Sam and associates! During lunch the tzatziki was gone, but Sam made sure I got a whole portion to take home when I said goodbye. Really great and definitely recommended!

Good service and good value Pleasant and efficient servis- friendly and helpful bus driver and guides. Commentary informative. We didn’t have to wait long for the bus. A great way to get an overall feel to the city.
