Take a narrated 30-minute tram tour through the back 50 acres and experience three different ecosystems, as well as the largest cycad collection in the United States. Stay on the tram the entire time or disembark to discover the Wetlands, the Cycad Garden, the Native Plant Walkway, the Wildflower Garden or the Mango Grove. Step into the past in the historic Wray Home Museum, built in 1933, and stop in the gallery for different shows and exhibits. Tour guides are always present to help you get a taste of old Florida history. Flamingo Gardens was an excellent overall experience. I only had 70 minutes and was able to see a large number of interesting plants and animals. Everything was clean, well labeled and well laid out. There was a great diversity of plants and animals. A very family friendly experience and a very good value as well.

Flamingo Gardens was a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed the size of the gardens and the lovely variety and health of the plants. We were pleasantly surprised by how close we could get to the birds. Feeding the birds was a big success. I was thrilled to see how large the enclosures were and how active the mammals were. The otter exhibit was entertaining. We do recommend the tram ride and the animal talk that they had. The staff was all quite knowledgeable.

Flamingo Gardens is truly beautiful and handicapped accessable! My husband and I spent several hours there and really appreciated May's help picking out a local restaurant to continue the wonderful experience over a late lunch! Thank you so much May!
