Perfect. The fjord tour was canceled by the ferry company, and Guided Fjord Tour managed to find another boat so that the day could go ahead as planned. If we had gone on our own, we would have had to return to Bergen. Thank you for that! Thanks also to Maria, our guide, for her kindness and advice, and to Tommy, our bus driver. I recommend this trip 100%. Just one comment: extend the visit to the Viking village if you take the time to chat with them a little—1 hour is too short!
The tour was well managed by Salome who explained about the trip perfectly. We had plenty of time in each of the stops. The viewpoint was stunning. The snowy road part was amazing and we walked to a snowy area with a lovely lake and waterfall. Then we visited a pretty town with old wooded houses. Then returned after a visit to an old stave church. Great trip. I recommend the trip and especially the guide Salome.
We had Salome as our guide for this tour. It was a good balance of sites visited, and a reasonable amount of time at each stop. Our driver Leif did a Stirling job on the narrow road winding up to the artic tundra. The scenery was beautiful and we had the perfect day.
Sting was an excellent guide and took us around great views. He kept everyone engaged during the ride and got us everywhere safe and sound.
